Picture 2 of 2..picture before I took the Blueberry Cobbler out of my Crock Pot (see also pic 1). I cooked it for one and half hours, and used blueberries..it is delicious! I will make this recipe more often..love it! 4.1.13
I would love to pre-time this recipe one time, just to see how it turns out..not sure if the flour will harden within all the other ingredients or not, or if the milk will stay fresh or not, but may try it just to see..would be so nice to pre-time and have it made before waking in the mornings..yum!
You are welcome Diane..I used the Dole frozen Blueberries and they are so big and beautiful! Those blueberry's were very tasty and still juicy and large and plump, even after cooking them. I loved the Blueberry version, so I may add fresh lemon (flesh only) and possibly add some chunky walnuts along with a frozen bag of Doles Blueberry's. But, I also saw Doles had frozen Pineapple chunks too..they looked so fresh and delicious..I think they would be good with a bag of frozen Cherry's too (maybe pecans)...yum..I may try that too! Also, I love peaches or apricots..when they are in season, I may try making it with them too..along with some cinnamon. I love this recipe because it tastes delicious and also love the versatility of it too..can use many different fruits and many different ways to make it. We really enjoyed and loved it..we used milk, but I did not have ice cream on hand, but will be trying it next time with ice cream..it is also delicious just warmed up and eaten without anything over it too!
Thank you for sharing photo Brenda!! I'm so happy you liked!!! I need to get more blueberries! I have canned pineapples and some cherries, kinda of thinking about a new one
